Eliote Durham

You might not recognize Eliote Durham's name. What you will recognize are the many large-scale events she has produced, coordinated, orchestrated, and executed: Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, Bay to Breakers, BottleRock, Frameline Film Festival, and the Nike Women's Marathon, to name but a few.

Durham's career in event production began humbly, as a lighting designer at the Berklee Performance Center in Boston, MA. In 1993, she relocated to the West Coast, settling in San Francisco, and in 2001, she began working with Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, an entirely free outdoor festival in Golden Gate Park that attracts more than 750,000 attendees across its 3-day runtime. By 2004, she became Hardly Strictly's Director of Operations, and that same year launched her own event production company.

Since then, she has paired her extensive experience managing large public events with her love of music and art, assisting dozens of clients with turning their big ideas into on-the-ground reality. She's a problem solver — and knows exactly where the gaps are.

Durham brings much more than decades of production and coordination experience to the table. Her wide-ranging network and deep relationships with municipal governments and agencies ensure that every event she's involved with will run smoothly and go off without a hitch.

In short, when Eliote Durham produces one of your events, she simply makes things work. And that's why her extensive client list has chosen to work with her time and time again.
