Founder & CEO
Noise Pop Industries Founder and CEO Kevin Arnold is a San Francisco-based entrepreneur with diverse experience across both the digital and real worlds of music, technology, and culture. He founded San Francisco’s renowned Noise Pop Festival in 1993, and has steered the growth of the brand from a single small festival into an internationally renowned promoter of music, arts, and culture with a diverse portfolio of events and activities. In the 90s Kevin managed technical teams and systems at Oracle and early music startup Listen.com/Rhapsody, then in 2003 founded pioneering digital distributor IODA – the Independent Online Distribution Alliance. After an acquisition by Sony Music Entertainment and subsequent merger with The Orchard, Kevin joined SME's Digital Business Group working on special projects, resulting in the 2013 launch of digital media platform OpenAura. In 2017 Kevin returned to his roots in the live business, and for the first time in its history is focused full time on leading the growth of the Noise Pop Industries team into the future.
