Kim is the Director of the Special Events and Community Relations for the past 7 years. In her role she oversees the development and execution of a complex calendar of events to promote UCSF Medical Center and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital San Francisco's fundraising and friend-raising endeavors. 

Some of these events include the annual Snuggly Soiree at the home of Ann and Gordon Getty; the UCSF HealthCelebrity Golf Classic in partnership with Ronnie Lott's Foundation, All Stars Helping Kids, and The Michael J. Fox Foundation and the Dreamforce Concert for Kids. 

Additionally, Kim is a co-founder of GCF Lab, which is a group of emerging leaders innovating at the intersection of sports and philanthropy to empower underserved youth and their families supported by the Giants Community Fund. This new initiative launching in 2019 will blend social opportunities with philanthropic work through volunteering, raising awareness and funds, and developing innovative engagement opportunities for the GCF.
