As Director of Development at the California Film Institute, Liana is responsible for the financial growth and sustainability of contributed revenue for the California Film Institute, which produces the Mill Valley Film Festival, DocLands Documentary Film Festival, CFI Education, and the Christopher B. Smith Rafael Film Center. Liana is a graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK. She has spoken nationally and internationally at various organizations including SXSW and the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and is a founding board member of TEDxMarin.
